Job Title: Senior Architect - Application Migration Modernization Location: Bengaluru Experience: 7 to 10 years Budget: 1.7 Lakhs per Month Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect - Application Migration Modernization to lead the transformation of legacy applications into modern, cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud technologies, modernization strategies, and leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready systems. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Migration Modernization Efforts Architect and drive end-to-end migration strategies across public, private, and hybrid clouds. Design solutions using microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless architecture. Define rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, and rebuilding strategies. 2. Collaborate with Stakeholders Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements. Serve as a trusted advisor for application transformation initiatives. 3. Technical Leadership Mentor teams of architects and developers in delivering cloud-native solutions. Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and quality. 4. Roadmap Development Assess existing application portfolios and define modernization roadmaps. Evaluate migration tools and select appropriate platforms and technologies. 5. Cloud Architecture Optimization Design secure, high-performance cloud environments. Optimize for cost, scalability, and resilience. 6. Security Compliance Integrate robust security controls. Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory standards. 7. Project Oversight Manage execution from design to deployment, ensuring timelines and quality. Handle technical escalations and stakeholder communication. Required Skills 7-10 years of experience in Application Migration Modernization . Proven experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms. Strong understanding of microservices, Kubernetes, serverless, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) . Experience with migration tools like AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate, etc. Knowledge of full-stack technologies: frontend, backend, databases, middleware . Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication skills. Certifications (Preferred) AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
