Mid Magento Engineer

As a Magento senior backend engineer at VML, you will have the opportunity to work in an experienced team of software architects and developers. Your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and test quality code to meet customer-driven specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Work within a project team to deliver high-quality code within deadlines. - Clearly communicate tasks and milestones achieved to project members. - Realistically estimate delivery timescales. - Solve problems using provided tools and suggest alternatives when necessary. - Take some responsibility from the senior/lead developer and lead small technical discussions. - Mentor junior developers and be a motivated self-starter. Qualifications Required: - Leading the development and implementation of Magento e-commerce solutions. - Experience with integrating Magento and non-Magento systems. - Performing code reviews and mentoring junior developers. - Extensive Magento development experience. - Proficient in coding with PHP/Java languages and data structures. - Exposure to web technologies, object-oriented software design patterns, and HTML5/CSS/JavaScript. - Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems. - Strong spoken and written communication skills.
