Summary:VML is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Kubernetes department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and enhancing platform reliability. This role requires strong expertise in DevOps tools, cloud-native technologies, and a passion for automation.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, manage, and maintain Terraform modules and cloud infrastructureDesign and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, and HelmManage Kubernetes deployments, secrets management, and rollback strategiesAutomate infrastructure consistency and drift detection processesImprove platform reliability, monitoring, and incident response using Datadog and PagerDutyDrive SLA/SLO implementation and cost optimization initiatives across servicesCollaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve deployment workflowsImplement cloud security and infrastructure best practicesSupport infrastructure modernization and automation initiativesQualifications / Requirements5 to 10 years of experience in DevOps / Platform EngineeringStrong expertise in Terraform, Terraform Cloud, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably GKEStrong knowledge of GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Helm, and GitOps practicesExperience with Google Secret Manager or HashiCorp VaultStrong understanding of GCP networking and cloud security conceptsExperience with observability and monitoring tools such as DatadogStrong troubleshooting and automation skillsAbility to lead initiatives and collaborate across teamsPreferred Skills / AttributesStrong problem-solving and analytical mindsetExperience working in cloud-native and scalable environmentsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in fast-paced Agile environments Summary:VML is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Kubernetes department.
