Hiring: Workday Consultant (Time & Absence) Experience: 6+ Years CTC: Up to 30 LPA Location: Chennai (Work from Office 5 days) Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Workday Consultant (Techno-Functional) to design, configure, and support Workday Time Tracking & Absence Management solutions. This role bridges HR, Payroll, and Technical teams to deliver scalable HRIS solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering with HR & Payroll stakeholders Configure Workday Time Tracking & Absence modules Design leave plans, accruals, eligibility rules & time calculations Support testing (SIT/UAT) and defect resolution Handle production support and issue troubleshooting Build reports and HR/Payroll dashboards Support integrations with Payroll and third-party systems Must-Have Skills 5+ years of Workday experience (Time & Absence focus) Strong Workday configuration skills Experience in HRIS & Payroll processes Knowledge of Workday business processes, security & reporting Experience in production support & troubleshooting Good to Have Workday certification (Time/Absence) Experience with Workday Studio / EIB / Core Connectors Implementation or tenant deployment experience Ideal Candidate Strong analytical & problem-solving skills Excellent stakeholder communication Ability to translate business needs into system solutions Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills .
