About the role
As a Senior Civil Engineer
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Oversee the execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Monitor project progress and proactively address any issues that may arise.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, fostering positive relationships.
Understand and address client needs and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide regular project updates and ensure client satisfaction.
Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, including engineers, designers, and support staff
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with projects.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Evaluate and propose cost-effective solutions.
Uphold high-quality standards in project deliverables.
Conduct regular quality checks and inspections.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field: master's degree is a plus

Proven experience as a Civil Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing complex civil engineering projects.

Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Strong Leadership and communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Proficient in project management software and tools.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
