Role Description The Structural Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Winter Haven, FL. This role involves performing structural analysis and calculations for buildings and infrastructure, developing safe and efficient structural designs, and preparing detailed drawings and models using computer-aided design (CAD) tools. The Structural Engineer will collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and project managers to review project requirements, evaluate materials and construction methods, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, responding to design-related questions during construction, preparing technical reports, and participating in client and internal coordination meetings. The role also includes supporting quality control processes, updating documentation as designs evolve, and contributing to the continuous improvement of design practices. Qualifications Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in structural analysis and engineering calculations to evaluate loads, member capacities, and overall system performance.
Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and related design tools for creating and modifying structural drawings and models.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field; advanced degree is a plus.
