About the role
We're seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to serve as the Responsible Professional Engineer (RPE) for complex, multidisciplinary projects. This role involves high-level engineering judgment, leadership, technical design, and client-facing responsibilities. You will also support the Structural Group Manager with client relationships and discipline-specific marketing efforts.

What You'll Do (Essential Functions)

As a Structural Engineer, you will: Lead, plan, develop, and coordinate large, complex structural projects or multiple smaller projects with significant technical requirements.

Serve as a staff advisor/technical consultant on specialized engineering topics.

Perform structural analyses, calculations, and prepare documentation across a wide variety of challenging projects.

Utilize engineering tools and software including Enercalc, RISA, and other structural design programs.

Act as Proposal Manager for Level 2 projects.

Approve discipline-specific level-of-effort estimates as assigned by the Group Manager.

Stamp and review engineering work performed by others within the discipline.

Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed QA standards.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Structural Group Manager.

Reporting Structure: You will report directly to the Structural Group Manager.

Who We're Looking For: A strong candidate will have: Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.); Structural Engineer (S.E.) required

Experience 8+ years minimum with 10+ years being ideal.

Proven experience leading engineering projects with complex requirements.

Proficiency in structural analysis software (Enercalc, RISA, etc.).

Strong judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative leadership style.

Ability to mentor, advise, and consult as a technical specialist.
