Junior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of DevOps and Cloud engineers. Conduct regular team meetings, and performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Delegate work and assignments to team members Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. Oversee the administration of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Ensure cloud infrastructure is compliant with security and performance standards. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes. Monitor and optimize build and deployment processes for speed and reliability. Implement robust monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance. Lead incident response efforts, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and the project management team to align priorities and project timelines. Advocate for best practices in DevOps and cloud engineering. Requirements Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Certifications in cloud services (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, etc.). Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.). Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and compliance standards. 0 - 1 year of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles. Proficient in managing cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet). Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
