Job Title: Data Engineer ETL/ELT & Snowflake (Healthcare Data) Experience: 58 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and AI-driven healthcare solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL/ELT processes, SQL, Data Engineering, Snowflake, Data Warehousing, and Data Quality. This role involves building modern data platforms, enabling AI-assisted analytics, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality healthcare data for business intelligence and advanced analytics. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for healthcare and enterprise data. Build scalable data integration solutions using SQL and Snowflake. Design and maintain modern data warehouse architectures to support analytics and reporting. Extract, transform, and load data from multiple healthcare systems, databases, APIs, and third-party sources. Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and governance across enterprise datasets. Support business intelligence and analytics teams by delivering trusted, analytics-ready data. Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and AI/ML Engineers to prepare datasets for AI-assisted analytics. Optimize SQL queries and data processing jobs for performance and scalability. Develop automated data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring processes. Implement best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and documentation. Monitor production data pipelines and troubleshoot data issues proactively. Participate in Agile development, sprint planning, and code reviews. Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory standards. Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Snowflake, and modern data warehouse solutions. Experience supporting enterprise analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Knowledge of healthcare data processing, quality standards, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable. Strong understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and data governance. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with healthcare analytics, population health, or payer/provider data platforms. Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics and modern data engineering practices. Snowflake SnowPro Certification or cloud data engineering certification is a plus. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
