QA Automation Test Engineer

Job Title: AI Automation Test Engineer Role Overview. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable automation solutions that enhance software quality and accelerate release cycles. You will contribute to building AI-assisted test automation frameworks, intelligent test execution strategies, Continuous testing in CI/CD that improve the overall effectiveness of the software quality assurance lifecycle. Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of total QA experience, with minimum 2+ years in automation testing Strong Analytical skills, test case identification skills and thorough knowledge of Functional, Integration, UI and Regression testing Strong experience working in Agile / Scrum environments on commercial software projects Hands-on experience with AI-assisted test automation tools such as Claude, OpenAI Codex, or GitHub Copilot to build: AI-generated test cases Self-healing automation scripts Automated test maintenance and optimization Ability to analyze AI-generated insights and identify defect patterns using test analytics Expertise in building and enhancing automation frameworks using tools such as: Playwright / Playwright MCP Cypress Selenium Strong programming skills in Java / Python/C#, JavaScript / TypeScript to support automation and AI-enabled testing workflows Experience with AI-assisted visual regression testing tools Basic knowledge in Azure/AWS/GCP Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger Experience using bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps Good working knowledge of BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.) Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work on client facing roles Strong task management and ownership mindset Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree (minimum) Experience in software testing of 4+ years
