Engineer Digital Integration

As an AI Applications Developer at Wood, your role involves designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end AI applications, including scalable and production-ready systems. You will be responsible for building and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices to expose AI functionalities. Additionally, you will implement data ingestion, extraction, and preprocessing pipelines for structured and unstructured data, such as text, images, and documents. It will be your duty to develop and maintain vector databases, embedding pipelines, and chunking strategies for efficient semantic retrieval. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI applications - Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices - Implement data ingestion, extraction, and preprocessing pipelines - Develop and maintain vector databases, embedding pipelines, and chunking strategies - Build and optimize LLM-based solutions using various architectures and fine-tuning techniques - Apply machine learning models for predictive analytics - Work on computer vision and image processing models - Stay updated with advancements in AI/ML, NLP, Computer Vision, and Generative AI ecosystems - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into AI solutions - Implement testing and validation frameworks to ensure AI model reliability - Document processes, workflows, and best practices for maintainability Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field - 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, or related domains - Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML and NLP libraries - Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, BERT - Hands-on experience in Prompt Engineering, RAG architectures, chatbot development - Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and evaluation techniques - Experience in image processing, computer vision techniques, and OCR - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills About the Company: Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, providing solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
