About the role
As a Business Analyst at Bajaj Capital, your role involves driving requirement clarity, system understanding, and cross-team delivery. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and external partners to translate business needs into structured, actionable requirements across fintech workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Translate business requirements into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Define edge cases, validations, and business logic for features. - Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation across modules. - Understand system architecture across multiple backend systems. - Map data flows, API dependencies, and integration points. - Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate requirement translation. - Work with internal teams and external vendors to align on requirements and timelines. - Track dependencies and ensure readiness before development cycles. - Act as a central point of communication across stakeholders. - Define test scenarios and support UAT cycles. - Validate system behavior against requirements. - Ensure data consistency across modules and systems. - Identify gaps in existing workflows and propose improvements. - Support implementation of new modules and features. - Maintain change logs and version control for requirements. Required Experience & Skills: Experience: - 1 to 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst. - Experience in fintech, BFSI, or wealth management platforms preferred. Core Skills: - Strong documentation skills (BRD, FRD, user stories). - Experience working in Agile environments. - Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills. Technical Understanding: - Understanding of APIs, data flows, and backend-driven systems. - Ability to interpret API responses and system behavior. - Basic knowledge of databases and data validation. Domain Knowledge (Preferred): - Mutual Funds (SIP, NAV, holdings, orders). - NPS workflows. - KYC and compliance processes. In this role, you will need to ensure requirement clarity and completeness, minimize rework due to requirement gaps, deliver timely across teams, reduce defect leakage during UAT, and maintain accurate documentation coverage. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, works well in a fast-paced environment, pays attention to detail, takes proactive ownership, and holds themselves accountable. You will report to the Product Manager or Technical Product Manager and collaborate with the Product Team, Engineering Teams, QA Team, and Business Teams.
