As a Software Developer specializing in Cloud Native Infrastructure (CNIS) and Ericsson Cloud Container Distribution (CCD), your role will involve: - End-to-end administration and operations of CNIS platforms such as Kubernetes, container runtimes, and cloud-native infrastructure components. - Managing and optimizing Ericsson Cloud Container Distribution (CCD) by covering provisioning, upgrades, backup/restore, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery readiness. - Performing CCD health checks, configuration drift analysis, capacity tracking, and environment validation across clusters. - Working closely with app and platform teams to onboard workloads and providing CCD-level support. - Implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using Ansible for automation of CNIS/CCD tasks. - Monitoring system performance and availability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and others. - Ensuring compliance with security, governance, and operational policies. - Participating in and leading DR planning, execution, and RCA of major incidents. - Maintaining detailed runbooks, MOPs, and CNIS documentation for operational readiness. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be involved in SDI (Software Defined Infrastructure) Administration, which includes: - Administering SDI components like SDN Calico, Multus, CNI plugins, SDS (Ceph, CSI drivers), and Compute Host-level cluster configuration and integration. - Monitoring SDI health and performance, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring seamless integration with CNIS layers. - Understanding SDN concepts, service chaining, and programmable infrastructure. - Troubleshooting experience with CNIS components. Furthermore, your role will require expertise in Enterprise Networking, which involves: - Hands-on experience with Juniper and Extreme Networks switches. - Understanding SDN and integration with container networking layers like Calico. - Configuration of VLANs, trunking, port profiles (access/trunk), and ACLs. - Performance analysis, component replacement, switch stacking, and chassis management. You will also be expected to have proficiency in Linux System Administration, including: - Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration and troubleshooting. - Experience with cluster-level configurations, LVM management, multipathing (MPIO) setup and troubleshooting, patch management, firmware upgrades, and OS-level tuning. - Hands-on experience with SAN topology, host-side storage integration, and network storage troubleshooting. Moreover, a strong understanding of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management, is essential. You should also be able to lead root cause analysis for major CNIS/network/infra incidents. Preferred certifications for this role include CKA / CKAD / CKS Kubernetes certifications, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA/RHCE), Networking certifications (Juniper/Extreme/SDN), and ITIL Foundation.
