Job Responsibilities: Must possess an in depth understanding Object Oriented Principles, MVC architecture, . NET framework (2. 0 & above) fundamentals, . NET framework building blocks and in depth understanding of Visual Studio 2005/Visual Studio 2008/Visual Studio 2010. Knowledge must include SQL Server 2005/2008, relational database model, normalization, PLSQL. Must have development skills of both web and windows based application using ASP. NET, C#, VB. NET. Hands on or knowledge of Web services, WCF, and WPF is a plus Web development experience (ASP. NET, HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX) is required. Hands on experience on classical ASP 3. 0 will be an added advantage. Exposure to Agile methodologies and software development patterns is a plus Strong troubleshooting / debugging skills using Visual studio native debug feature and PDB debugging. Area of responsibility: Working closely with development lead to understand business needs and develop technology solution with minimal handhold; perform Requirement Analysis. Adhere to the best practices of development in . net technologies as described by the development team. Provide efficient solutions for complex problems/requirements using relevant technology. Should be able to debug and troubleshoot the application during development Should be able to mentor/guide newly joined trainee Should be able to participate & Contribute in design discussions Participate and contribute in complete SDLC of development Unit testing/Integration testing/System Testing/Sanity Testing Bug fixing and Regression testing
