Software Engineer

Job Title : Software Engineer Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94089 Job Duties: Analyze and evaluate requirements for existing and new software applications. Design, develop, and implement new features and functions for the proprietary data management solution package using modem design techniques and processes. Contribution to various software development life cycle activities - Initiation, Concept, Planning, Requirements, Design, Coding, Testing, Integration, implementation, Maintenance, etc. Develop and maintain Web Services and RESTful APIs using Service Oriented & Microservices Architecture and cloud platforms such as PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) to ensure that the Customer Integrator framework can be used across hybrid (on-prem and cloud) environments. Migrating technology, performance tuning, and scalability maintenance. Writing rules on the rule engine to fine-tune and set up alerts for security threats using Splunk. Work with customer implementation teams to implement the data management infrastructure and solutions and to work with customers to integrate and organize their customer information using SSIS, SFTP, flat files, XML, Services, APIs, Batch Jobs, etc. Development of components for request handling, response processing, business logic, authentication, authorization, security, logging, etc. Implement design patterns, principles, best practices, standards, procedures including quality and delivery methodologies such as Iterative, Agile, CMMI, etc. Prepare/update documentation related to- requirements specifications, functional design, technical design, test plans, test cases, deployment, and maintenance using UML, design tools. Job Requirements: Require Bachelor’s Degree or Foreign Equivalent in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Require five years of experience in the job offered, Software Engineer, Software Consultant, Tech Lead, or related. Must have at least two years of experience using Redhat, Solaris, and Windows. Require travel/relocation to unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
