Xoriant Corporation in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking applications for the following position: Job Title: Software Enigneer Location: Xoriant Corporation, 1248 Reamwood Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 and various unanticipated locations in U.S. Job Duties: Discuss and work with the Product Architect to develop high level detailed design and architecture. Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks based on the product requirement documentation. Deploy a highly integrated environment to provide reliability, high availability, scalability, and performance for Oracle applications to handle large-sale transactional workloads. Implement Data Distribution architecture which supports scale-up and scale- out feature as per customer requirements on their production environment. Design a reference storage architecture which provides an overview on placing VMDK disks on a logical datastore. Design Network topology for HX environment to provide highly available infrastructure which includes vPC peer link, NTP configuration, DHCP, DNS, vCenter and Active Directory. Develop terraform templates to automate the process of bringing up HX Cluster and deploy applications based on the specifications provided by the user. Develop tools and backend application code using Python, Ansible, Terraform. Setup HyperFlex Clusters with the required releases of VMware and Hyperv with the right versions of HyperFlex software. Benchmark and tune applications and platforms to achieve maximum performance. Create tablespace and load data by generating various schemas to test the I/O performance with a high OLTP workloads running on each instance and generate AWR reports to analyze the performance. Create and publish whitepapers containing best practice guidelines for installation and configuration of the applications deployed. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in the application deployments and the product configuration. Support internal sales and SE (sales engineering) on Sizing guidelines to deploy applications. Conduct various performance tests on HX clusters. Debug and fix functional or performance issues arising in deployments. Job Requirements: Require Master’s Degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related field. Require six (6) months of experience in job offered, Software Engineer, Software Consultant or related, using Python, Terraform, Hadoop, AWS, and Ansible. Require travel/relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
