What's next? Join ZF! We are looking for interns for ZF Wind Power in our locations in Antwerp and Lommel (Belgium), starting as soon as possible for the next six months.

Your tasks as an intern in the noise and vibration research and development team:

Conduct advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate and enhance the structural performance of wind turbine gearboxes

Analyze and optimize dynamic behavior of gearbox systems to improve reliability and operational efficiency

Develop, implement and automate innovative optimization methodologies to advance gearbox design and performance

Your profile as an intern or thesis student in the noise and vibration research and development team:

Studying towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field of study

Basic knowledge of drive train technology and digitalization is an advantage

Programming skills (Python) and experience in Finite Element Modelling (ANSYS) is an advantage

Very good English skills

Team spirit, analytical skills, quick comprehension, solution-oriented and independent working style
