About the role
As a Software Tester with experience in both manual and automation testing, your role will involve ensuring high-quality delivery of mobile, web, CRM, and complex applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to guarantee thorough testing and adherence to quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Understand business requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases. - Conduct manual testing of web, mobile, and CRM applications for functionality, usability, and performance. - Develop and implement automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, or JMeter as required. - Perform API testing, regression testing, and system integration testing for complex applications. - Track, log, and manage bugs utilizing tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps. - Work in conjunction with developers and product teams to address defects and validate fixes. - Prepare test documentation including test scenarios and test summary reports. - Engage in release readiness activities and provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Required Skills: - Profound understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and defect lifecycle. - Hands-on experience in manual testing of mobile (Android/iOS) and web applications. - Basic knowledge of automation using Selenium WebDriver or Appium. - Good grasp of API testing with tools like Postman. - Experience in testing CRM applications, preferably Salesforce, Zoho, or custom CRMs. - Familiarity with complex, integrated system testing. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. Preferred Tools/Technologies: - Proficiency in bug-tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla. - Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, and JMeter. - Fundamental understanding of SQL for database testing. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in software testing involving manual and basic automation. In this role, you will be expected to work full-time at the Jayanagar location. The salary range for this position is 300,000.00 - 360,000.00 per year. Please note that proficiency in English is required for this position, and the work location is in-person. Kindly ensure that your application falls within the specified budget range of 3.0 3.6 LPA as applications outside this range will not be considered.
