Data Engineer

Role Overview: As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for autonomously performing business analysis for data-based use cases. You will interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to answer questions and seek feedback, conduct early analysis investigation spikes, and plan phase-based design for implementation. Your role will involve creating accurate entity mappings for data integrations and transformations, as well as designing entity relationship diagrams for various data development cases. Additionally, you will define project objectives, consult with technical leads, and determine data staging frequency and provisioning methods to ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities: - Perform Business Analysis activities, including interacting with SMEs, analyzing preliminary datasets, and planning design implementation - Create entity mappings for data integrations and transformations, along with entity relationship diagrams for different data development cases - Define project scope, approach, next steps, and direction, aligning internal and business objectives - Determine data staging frequency and provisioning methods for efficient data processing - Analyze incoming data rapidly to understand potential, manipulations needed, and issues - Conduct data cleanup activities independently and profile datasets to detect anomalies, alignments, and patterns - Leverage AI tools and technologies for daily tasks and provide L3/L4 support for production data issues - Design and develop data solutions from prototype to production, focusing on rapid ETL development and automation of pipelines - Manage pipeline execution, implement error handling capabilities, and oversee data migration tasks - Understand and apply Agile concepts, participate in project management activities, and document technical specifications - Recognize key data entities and understand data architecture principles to enhance data value and security - Collaborate with colleagues and interface with Systems Engineers on app-related projects Qualifications Required: - Undergraduate degree in information technology or computer science, or equivalent education and work experience - 5-8+ years of experience in design, building, and supporting rapid data development (3-6+ years with a Master's degree) - Experience with multiple vendors and departments for service and support activities - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships - Ability to prioritize issues and drive progress in ambiguous situations Additional Company Details (if available): N/A Role Overview: As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for autonomously performing business analysis for data-based use cases.
