Data Engineer- SQL ZTD R&D

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for various aspects of data analysis, development, and architecture. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: Role Overview: You will autonomously perform business analysis for data-based use cases, including creating accurate entity mappings and developing entity relationship diagrams. Additionally, you will define project scope, approach, and next steps, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives. Your role will also involve analyzing incoming data from various sources, performing data cleanup and profiling, and providing support for production data issues. Key Responsibilities: - Perform business analysis for data-based use cases, including entity mappings and entity relationship diagrams. - Define project scope, approach, and next steps in consultation with technical leads. - Analyze incoming data from various sources and perform data cleanup and profiling. - Provide L3/L4 support for production data issues and lead contracted resources in resolving them. - Design and develop data solutions from prototype to production, including ETLs, integrations, analyses, limited data apps, and visualizations. - Monitor and manage pipeline execution, implement error handling, and oversee data migration analysis. - Apply Agile concepts and actively participate in project ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint reviews. - Identify key data entities to enhance cross-use case linkability and apply additional metadata for entities. - Ensure data security in apps, visualizations, databases, and file systems, and manage sensitive data effectively. - Collaborate with Systems Engineers on app-related projects and contribute to continuous improvement of process and knowledge sharing. Qualifications Required: - Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - 5-8+ years of experience in data application design, development, and support. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Experience with ETL tools, scripting languages, SQL, statistics, visualization tools, and technical documentation. - Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with project management skills.
