Functional QA (Ahmedabad)

Experience:3-6 Years Location: Ahmedabad Education:UG: B.E / B.Tech or PG: MCA / M.Sc. IT (preferred) Key Responsibilities- Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective test scenarios- - Perform smoke, sanity, regression, and system testing- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools like Jira- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders- Contribute to automation test scripts for regression and repetitive test cases- Maintain and enhance existing automation test suites- Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and retrospectives- Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics Requires Skill and Qualifications- 3-6 years of experience in Functional / Manual Testing- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC- Hands-on experience in writing detailed test cases and test scenarios- Experience with API testing using Postman / RestAssuredExposure to test automation tools/frameworks such as: - Selenium / Playwright / Cypress- Robot Framework (preferred)- Programming or scripting knowledge in Java / JavaScript / Python (any one)- Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies Valuable To Have- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)- Understanding of automation framework concepts (POM, data-driven testing) .
