Facets Business Systems Analyst bridges the gap between healthcare payer operations and IT. This role involves analyzing, configuring, and troubleshooting the TriZetto Facets core administration system, including the Claims, Membership, Provider, and Billing modules. The analyst translates business requirements into technical specifications to support system upgrades, migrations, and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

System Configuration: Analyze change requests and perform complex Facets configuration updates to support benefit plans, pricing, and network rules.

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders (Claims, Enrollment, Billing) to gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements.

Data Analysis & SQL: Query databases (SQL, Oracle, and MS Access) to profile data, map system migrations, and perform root-cause analysis for production issues.

Testing & QA: Develop use cases, execute SIT/UAT test scenarios, manage defects, and validate system changes before production deployment.

Impact Analysis: Assess the impact of global system changes to prevent downstream effects and ensure ongoing compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Configuration Developer in a healthcare payer environment.

• Experience with Medicaid and/or Medicare is required

• Strong hands-on experience with TriZetto Facets data models, data tables, batch processing, and functional modules.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases. Experience with MS Visio, MS Project, and Agile/SDLC methodologies is highly preferred.

• Exceptional communication skills.
