Position Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer/Engineer to support Capital Metro's enterprise Salesforce environment in Austin, Texas. The selected resource will provide Salesforce application development, configuration, integration, and production support services to enhance business capabilities and improve operational efficiency.

The Salesforce Developer will collaborate with CapMetro business teams, Salesforce administrators, architects, project managers, and technical stakeholders to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Salesforce solutions supporting enterprise business processes.

Required Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years of Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments.

· Hands-on experience designing, developing, configuring, and supporting Salesforce solutions.

· Strong experience with Salesforce development technologies including:

o Apex

o Lightning Web Components (LWC)

o SOQL/SOSL

o Salesforce Flows

o Salesforce APIs

· Experience developing custom Salesforce applications, integrations, and enhancements.

· Experience with Salesforce security architecture, including:

o Profiles

o Permission Sets

o Roles

o Sharing Rules

o Field-Level Security

· Experience with Salesforce deployment methodologies and release management.

· Experience working in Agile development environments.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• · Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.

• · Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification.

• · Salesforce Administrator Certification.

• · Experience supporting public sector, transportation, government, or large enterprise clients.

• · Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Industry Clouds.

• · Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools including Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, GitHub, or Salesforce DX.

• · Experience with data migration, data cleansing, and Salesforce reporting solutions.

• · Experience working within enterprise governance and change management processes.

• Primary Responsibilities

• · Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications and platform solutions.

• · Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce technical solutions.

• · Design and develop Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and integrations.

• · Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, flows, and automation.

• · Build and maintain integrations using Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs.

• · Perform Salesforce testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• · Support Salesforce deployments across development, test, and production environments.

• · Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, code reviews, and technical documentation.

• · Assist with Salesforce platform enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing support activities.

• · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
