Job Title - Business Analyst Life Insurance Department - Product / Business Transformation / IT Insurance Systems Reporting To - Product Manager / Program Manager / Delivery Head Role Objective The Business Analyst (BA) in the Life Insurance domain is responsible for bridging business needs with technology solutions by analyzing requirements, defining system changes, supporting UAT, and ensuring regulatory and product compliance across the policy lifecycle. The main objective is candidate is experienced in Day2 policy servicing features development and testing. This will be for mixed product category. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for Life Insurance products and processes Translate regulatory and product requirements into clear system specifications Stakeholder management coordinate with Product, Actuarial, Technology, QA, and Operations teams Support UAT by preparing test cases, validating results, and obtaining sign-offs Perform impact analysis for product changes, enhancements, and regulatory updates Analyze defects, support root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution Ensure adherence to governance, documentation, and audit requirements. Also expert in making progress and updates of the project. Support production deployments and post-production validations Training and management Key Skills & Competencies Domain Knowledge Strong understanding of Life Insurance products, including: Traditional / ULIP / Pension / Annuity products Policy alterations, surrender, maturity, death and survival benefits Familiarity with actuarial concepts impacting system calculations.
