Sr. Java Developer w/. Test Automation | JPC - 48669

Technical Stack & Environment Language: Core Java. While the job description says Java 8+, the codebase is actually modernizing—most of the application is on Java 21. Backend vs. Frontend: Purely focused on the Java back-end. Very little to zero front-end interaction or front-end testing required. Architecture: Core Spring Boot applications. Crucially, this is a monolithic setup—not microservices-related testing. Cloud Infrastructure: AWS is not important for this position. Do not screen for heavy cloud architecture.

Testing & Code Quality Requirements Candidate Profile: Must have a strong Java development background because all underlying applications are written in Java and Spring Boot. They need to be able to read and understand complex code to test it effectively. Core Tools: Requires a heavy, proven background in JUnit and SonarQube (sanacube) for code quality and test automation. AI Tooling: The team does not have a custom, proprietary AI testing suite right now. They are primarily utilizing GitHub Copilot. Experience using Copilot to automate and speed up unit testing is a major plus.
