Piping Stress Engineering

Description We are seeking an experienced Piping Stress Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting piping stress analysis and will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of piping systems in various projects. Responsibilities Conduct piping stress analysis using software such as Caesar II, AutoPIPE, or similar. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during stress analysis. Collaborate with design engineers to ensure proper design and material selection for piping systems. Perform troubleshooting and provide solutions for piping system issues and failures. Prepare detailed reports and documentation of stress analysis results and recommendations. Review and approve piping design specifications and technical documentation. Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and execution. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 8-10 years of relevant experience in piping stress analysis or design. Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, B31.1, etc. Proficiency in piping stress analysis software like Caesar II, AutoPIPE, or equivalent. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
