Safety Engineer

Description We are seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in safety engineering, with a strong background in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Responsibilities Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to enhance workplace safety. Analyze accident reports and safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and protocols. Collaborate with management to ensure a culture of safety within the organization. Investigate safety incidents and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions. Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to safety engineering. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification in safety (e.g., Certified Safety Professional - CSP, NEBOSH) is preferred. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards in India. Proficiency in risk assessment and safety management systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams. Experience with safety training programs and presentations. Familiarity with safety auditing tools and methodologies.
