Senior Architect

Senior Architect We are searching for an experienced senior architect to oversee the company's new construction projects. As the senior architect, you will mentor other Architects, interpret client briefs, and review contracts and designs. You should have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of CAD software, and the ability to handle negative feedback. To be successful as a senior architect, you should display great interpersonal skills and be able to relay important information. An outstanding Senior Architect should also be open to criticism and learning opportunities. Skills Ability to produce coherent and well resolved architectural designs Ability to understand and formulate design decisions and present for discussion Ability to use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a design project Excellent drawing and presentation skills Ability to work accurately and diligently Excellent ability to build physical models Understanding of technical standards, regulatory frameworks and building technologies Knowledge of sustainability and regenerative design principles and practices Knowledge of relevant CAD systems, 3D and visualisation software, and adherence to relevant Group Ginger standards. Revit Rhino Adobe Suite Understanding of the professional duty of care arising from the relationships between client and architects, employer and employee Responsibilities Reviewing and designing architectural and engineering plans. Ensuring all plans are compliant with governmental health and safety regulations. Researching and maintaining knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods, and materials. Monitoring the work of other Architects and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required. Providing guidance to subcontractors like builders, plumbers, and electricians, and helping them interpret design specifications. Liaising with clients to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met. Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets. Acting as a mentor to new Architects and helping them fine-tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge. Networking and consulting with various industry professionals.
