Company:- Brillio Technologies Job Description: Mainframe / ETL Engineer ( Contractual Role) Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Mainframe / ETL Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data processing solutions on legacy and modern data platforms. The role requires strong expertise in mainframe technologies along with ETL workflows to support critical business applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain mainframe-based applications Build and manage ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Perform data extraction, validation, and performance tuning Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal downtime Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, QA, DevOps) Ensure adherence to coding, security, and compliance standards Required Skills Strong experience with Mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2) Hands-on experience in ETL tools / data integration Experience in batch processing and job scheduling Solid understanding of data structures and relational databases Good debugging and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare / insurance domain (nice to have) Exposure to modern data platforms or cloud migration initiatives Familiarity with Agile/DevOps practices Experience 3-8 years of relevant experience (flexible depending on role level) Location Hyderabad Key Competencies Strong analytical thinking Attention to detail Ability to work in high-demand, production environments Effective communication skills
