Role Summary

The Enterprise Applications Architect is responsible for architecting and governing application carve-outs, clones, and separations in support of M&A transactions. This role blends hands-on technical depth with architectural leadership, vendor oversight, and execution rigor to deliver Day-1 readiness and post-close stabilization under aggressive timelines.

Core Responsibilities Application Architecture & M&A Delivery Lead application carve-out, cloning, and lift-and-shift strategies across complex application portfolios Define target-state application and data architectures aligned to deal timelines and TSA exit objectives Drive architecture decisions balancing speed, risk, cost, and future scalability Identify and remediate application, data, and integration dependencies impacted by separation Integration & Data Architecture Design and govern interfaces, middleware, APIs, and batch integrations Define data separation, migration, and reconciliation approaches Ensure architectural consistency across environments (prod / non-prod) Program & Vendor Leadership Provide architectural oversight to system integrators and software vendors Review and approve solution designs, migration approaches, and cutover plans Proactively identify and mitigate execution and cutover risks Advise program leadership on technical trade-offs and sequencing decisions
