Instrumentation Engineer

About the Role We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Instrumentation & Control Engineer with strong exposure to EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LPG/CNG, Pipeline, or Industrial Projects. The candidate will be responsible for instrumentation project execution, installation, commissioning, calibration, maintenance, and coordination activities at site. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in field instrumentation, control systems, commissioning activities, documentation, and client/vendor coordination. Key Responsibilities Execute instrumentation and control projects from installation to commissioning stage. Supervise erection, installation, calibration, loop checking, and commissioning of field instruments. Handle instruments such as: Pressure, Temperature, Flow & Level Transmitters Control Valves Gas Detection Systems PLC/DCS-based control systems Review and understand: P&ID Instrument Index Cause & Effect Diagrams Control Philosophy Cable Schedules Hook-up Drawings Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and site teams for smooth project execution. Prepare and review technical documents, datasheets, inspection reports, DPRs, and completion reports. Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities at site. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation systems. Ensure compliance with safety standards and project quality requirements. Monitor project progress and maintain proper documentation. Support AMC/O&M activities wherever required. Required Technical Skills Must Have: Hands-on experience in: Instrument Installation Calibration Loop Checking Commissioning Troubleshooting Knowledge of industrial instrumentation systems. Experience in Oil & Gas / LPG / Petrochemical / Pipeline projects. Familiarity with industrial standards: ISA IEC ANSI IEEE NEMA Understanding of field instruments from: Emerson Rosemount ABB Honeywell Yokogawa Endress+Hauser Vega Educational Qualification B.Tech / BE in: Instrumentation Engineering Electronics & Instrumentation Electrical & Instrumentation Electronics Engineering Desired Candidate Profile Strong field execution and site management skills Good communication and coordination abilities Ability to work independently at project sites Experience in EPC/project environments preferred Preferred Industries Candidates from the following industries will be preferred: Oil & Gas Petrochemical Refinery EPC Pipeline Projects LPG/CNG Projects Industrial Automation Disclaimer : This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
