About the role
As an Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Architect, your role will involve deep hands-on ownership of AEP implementations, focusing on end-to-end responsibility for complex solutions. Here are the key responsibilities you will be expected to undertake: - Own the end-to-end delivery of complex AEP solutions and large functional modules, from requirements analysis and design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing optimization. - Design and evolve AEP data models, including XDM schemas, datasets, identity namespaces, and profile-enabled datasets, ensuring scalability and long-term extensibility. - Own AEP data flows end to end, including batch and streaming ingestion, identity resolution, profile unification, and activation readiness. - Make and own technical decisions related to AEP implementation patterns, data modeling approaches, and non-functional requirements. - Act as a senior technical contributor within the AEP stack, setting a high bar for implementation quality, performance, and data reliability. - Collaborate with architects, data engineering, and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, production-ready AEP solutions. - Proactively identify technical risks, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks, and drive solutions through hands-on implementation. - Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolution for AEP/AJO implementation issues, including debugging data pipelines, identity resolution problems, and journey execution failures. - Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for AEP/AJO, supporting technical queries from internal and client stakeholders and guiding solution approaches. - Ensure platform stability and continuous improvement across owned AEP components. For this role, you should have the following skills and experience: - Proven hands-on experience designing and delivering Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) solutions in production environments. - Strong technical depth across AEP core components such as XDM schema design, dataset creation and management, identity namespaces, identity resolution, and identity graphs, Real-Time Customer Profile, and data ingestion and activation patterns. - Experience designing customer-, event-, and profile-centric data models at an enterprise scale. - Solid understanding of end-to-end CDP architectures and complex customer data ecosystems. - Demonstrated ability to own delivery outcomes independently with accountability for solution quality and completeness. - Experience operating in enterprise environments with multiple upstream and downstream data integrations. - Strong communication skills to clearly explain technical decisions and trade-offs to technical stakeholders.
