Role Overview: You will be leading the Global EAM Program as a Global EAM Program Lead in a Center of Excellence (COE) function, focusing on providing global program leadership, EAM system user performance, process excellence, solutioning, and reporting strategy in support of the Asset Lifecycle Management Global Business Process (ALM GBP) team. Your role will involve driving key strategic and global solutions, dashboard reporting of key performance metrics, maintaining service levels, and ensuring the impact and effectiveness of global operational solutions for manufacturing and facilities. Key Responsibilities: - Support the global roadmap of all EAM technology and future strategy related to process and user experience to enable functional teams to benefit from enterprise-level insight and strategy while allowing for necessary operational solutions and regionalization. - Manage the global/central governance and administration of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) tool to optimize both global and local value and usage by functional teams. - Oversee the management and implementation of SAP EAM program, documentation, and impacted Work Instructions, including setting global processes, driving project requirements, user acceptance, governance, quality documents, KPIs, and related standards. - Lead projects and enhancements of the PM/CM technology strategy to support and improve business processes driving global standardization. - Ensure strict adherence to Illumina guidelines for document management strategies and document control. - Collaborate with various functions such as Quality, Life Cycle Management, Manufacturing Operations, Global Facilities, and others as needed to drive connected programs and processes. - Uphold company procedures and policies, ensuring compliance and implementation. - Utilize in-depth knowledge in Biotech's practice and standards, especially related to MDSAP regulations, ISO 13485:2016, and 21 CFR Part 11 and Part 820, and apply these standards to EAM, assets, and systems. - Travel as needed to support programs and perform assigned duties effectively. Qualifications Required: - Deep understanding and experience using and managing SAP EAM, with the ability to comprehend EAM Architecture and best-in-class use. - Strong project management experience, PMP preferred. - High level of business acumen and experience in a highly diverse corporate environment. - Experience in developing and driving technology roadmaps and strategies. - Collaboration skills to partner with global peers and build and sustain high-performing matrixed teams. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to develop presentations at all levels. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and SAP EAM. - Ability to handle pressure, multiple tasks, deadlines, and changing priorities effectively. - Aptitude to negotiate and influence upward, with the ability to lead projects and negotiations. - Preferred educational background: BS Degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, IT, or related discipline with 4+ years of experience, or 10+ years of experience in SAP EAM management and operations, administration, project management in a biotechnology, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. - Willingness to work in shifts to support US business operations, with no night shift required.
