Team Lead - Service Management, Data

As an experienced and strategic IT Maintenance Manager at ArcelorMittal, your role will involve leading the operational support and continuous improvement of enterprise data platforms. You will oversee a team of 30+ professionals, including system administrators, data operations specialists, platform engineers, and support analysts. Your primary focus will be on maintaining the health, reliability, and scalability of the SAP BW environment and Azure-based data lake to ensure seamless support for Tableau and Power BI reporting tools. Key Responsibilities: - Leadership & Team Management: - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 30+ IT professionals. - Set strategic direction for maintenance operations and career development paths. - Build and manage KPIs and SLAs to ensure performance meets business expectations. - Platform Operations & Maintenance: - Oversee the health, availability, and optimization of SAP BW systems and Azure-based data lake infrastructure. - Manage end-to-end monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident resolution. - Handle software patching, version upgrades, change management, and maintenance. - Data Ecosystem Support: - Coordinate data pipeline integrity between SAP BW, Azure, and reporting platforms. - Ensure reliable data delivery to Tableau and Power BI environments. - Governance, Security & Compliance: - Enforce data platform governance policies, access controls, and compliance. - Maintain system documentation, disaster recovery procedures, and runbooks. - Stakeholder Engagement: - Act as a key point of contact between IT and business units. - Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and architecture teams. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 8 to 10 years of experience in IT operations or data platform maintenance, with 5+ years in a leadership role. - Strong technical knowledge of SAP BW, Azure Data Lake, Tableau, Power BI, and IT service management frameworks. - Proven experience managing large teams and familiarity with enterprise-scale reporting environments.
