Cloud Native Solutions Engineer 100% Remote Position Summary We are seeking a Cloud Native Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and implement scalable, cloud-native applications and platforms. This role focuses on leveraging modern cloud technologies, containerization, microservices, and DevOps practices to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing solutions that support business objectives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and services. Build and maintain microservices-based architectures using modern development frameworks. Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to build scalable and secure cloud solutions. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and testing. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure and application performance. Ensure cloud solutions comply with security, governance, and operational best practices. Integrate cloud services, APIs, and third-party applications to support business needs. Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and solution planning. Stay current with emerging cloud-native technologies and recommend improvements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, software development, or platform engineering. Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Understanding of cloud networking, security, monitoring, and logging. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator/Developer, or Google Professional Cloud Engineer. Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio or Linkerd). Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or ELK Stack. Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and cloud security frameworks. .
