About the role
As the Product Manager and Product Owner for SAP Finance Record-to-Report (R2R) and Group Reporting capabilities, your key responsibilities will include: - Defining and managing the product roadmap, backlog, priorities, and release plans - Collaborating with business stakeholders to align product strategy with organizational goals - Driving continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing user experience across SAP Finance processes You will also be responsible for supporting and optimizing SAP Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including: - General Ledger (GL) Month-End and Year-End Close - Journal Entries - Accruals and Provisions - Allocations - Intercompany Accounting - Account Reconciliations Additionally, you will lead requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and issue resolution for SAP Group Reporting, supporting financial consolidation and reporting processes such as: - Entity Hierarchies - Consolidation Activities - Intercompany Eliminations - Financial Close Activities - Management and Statutory Reporting Your role will involve partnering closely with Finance, Controllership, Shared Services, and IT teams to translate business requirements into product features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. You will facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions, manage UAT, regression testing, release readiness, and production support activities, ensuring compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and governance standards. Required Skills & Experience: - 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or SAP Finance solution leadership roles - Strong functional expertise in SAP Finance (FI/CO) and Record-to-Report processes - Hands-on experience with SAP Group Reporting and financial consolidation - Experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and Agile delivery methodologies - Ability to translate complex finance requirements into actionable product deliverables - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with business and technical teams - Experience driving UAT, release management, and process improvement initiatives - Understanding of finance controls, compliance, and reporting processes Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation or support programs - Exposure to Agile/Scrum product delivery frameworks - Knowledge of financial consolidation, corporate reporting, and close management processes - SAP Finance or SAP S/4HANA certifications are an added advantage The company offering this opportunity is a large, Fortune Technology client that is ranked as one of the best companies to work for globally.
