About the role
We are looking for an experienced ERP Functional Consultant / ERP Implementation Specialist with 6+ years of experience in leading and executing end-to-end ERP implementations across business functions such as Finance, Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, CRM, Logistics, and Supply Chain. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in business process analysis, requirement gathering, solution design, ERP implementation, user training, change management, and stakeholder coordination. Experience in Odoo ERP is preferred but considered secondary to overall functional ERP implementation expertise. The candidate should be capable of aligning business operations with ERP best practices and ensuring successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects including requirement gathering, GAP analysis, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Understand business processes across departments such as Finance, Purchase, Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, and Operations. Conduct workshops with stakeholders to identify pain points and define ERP requirements. Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical/development teams. Configure ERP modules and validate solutions based on business needs. Coordinate with developers for customization, reports, workflows, and integrations. Drive user acceptance testing (UAT), training sessions, and change management activities. Ensure successful data migration, master data setup, and process readiness. Support process optimization and recommend ERP best practices. Manage implementation timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication. Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations. Experience in Odoo functional implementation, module mapping, and testing is an added advantage. Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of experience in ERP Functional Consulting / ERP Implementation. Strong experience in implementing ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP Business One, Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, ERPNext, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of core business processes: Finance, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, Logistics, HR. Experience in requirement gathering, business process mapping, and GAP analysis. Ability to prepare BRD, FRD, SOPs, workflows, and implementation documentation. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience in UAT planning, training, and go-live support. Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills. Ability to work in cross-functional and fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications Functional implementation experience in Odoo ERP. Experience in multiple industry domains such as Manufacturing, Trading, Retail, Logistics, or Services. Understanding of integrations, reporting tools, and dashboards.
