QA Engineer

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for banking applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing across banking platforms. Validate transaction accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with financial regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, RBI guidelines). Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage. Conduct API testing for payment services, loan systems, and customer portals. Automate test cases using tools like Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Cypress, or TestNG. Report defects, track resolutions, and maintain documentation for audits. Ensure end-to-end testing of workflows such as fund transfers, loan approvals, KYC processes, and account management. Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with business stakeholders.

Testing Types: Functional, regression, performance, security, API, UI, and automation testing. Tools & Frameworks: Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Cucumber, Jenkins, Jira, TestNG, Cypress. Banking Domain Knowledge: Core banking systems, payment gateways, SWIFT/NEFT/RTGS transactions, loan origination, compliance standards. Programming Knowledge: Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting. Database Skills: SQL for validating transaction records and data integrity. Security Testing: Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and fraud detection mechanisms.
