LLM / AI Engineer (Contract Role of 1 Year)

We are hiring for the position of LLM / AI Engineer for a 1-year contractual role (extendable based on business requirements). Job Details Role: LLM / AI Engineer Experience: 5-10 Years Location: Mumbai Employment Type: Full-Time Contract Duration: 1 Year (Payroll through Bean HR Consulting) Key Responsibilities Design and develop production-grade LLM and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions. Build Agentic AI workflows for complex business processes. Develop document understanding capabilities for extracting and classifying information from unstructured documents. Design prompt engineering frameworks to generate accurate and structured AI outputs. Build and maintain knowledge retrieval systems using vector databases. Implement evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and monitoring to improve LLM accuracy and reduce hallucinations. Work closely with engineering teams to deploy scalable AI solutions in production. Required Skills 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in LLM, NLP, or Applied AI. Strong programming experience in Python. Hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM frameworks. Experience building production-grade RAG applications. Knowledge of Agentic AI concepts and multi-agent workflows. Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, ChromaDB, Milvus, or Databricks Vector Search. Strong understanding of embedding models, semantic search, and prompt engineering. Experience with document processing, including PDF parsing, OCR, and chunking. Familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks such as RAGAS, TruLens, or similar tools. Experience with the Hugging Face ecosystem is preferred. Preferred Skills Experience working on enterprise AI applications. Exposure to compliance, legal, financial, or regulatory document processing. Experience with multilingual document understanding and LLM fine-tuning is an added advantage. .
