Data Integration Expert Job Title: Data Integration Expert Locations: Regina, Saskatchewan , on-site Duration: Contract 12-24 month. Objective: As a Qualified Supplier from 22SQ.00016 Various Professional Services you are invited to submit a quote to provide a Data Integration Expert. Scope: The Data Integration Expert will functionally report to the Manager, Business Intelligence Services, and will be accountable for supporting the development, maintenance, and enhancement of various ETL jobs used for WCB enterprise systems with a focus on the Business Analytics System (“BAS”). The preference is this role is largely on-site at WCB’s Head office in Regina for the duration of the engagement, however, WCB may consider variability to this requirement. Key Responsibilities:  Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs for completion, performance, and accuracy  Optimize ETL jobs and ensure consistent design patterns across multiple jobs.  Comply with and contribute to the development of WCB integration standards.  Mentor and train existing staff in ETL design, optimization, and best practices.  Design, develop, and maintain both new and existing ETL jobs.  Integrate data between existing and new software systems.  Database schema design.  Other responsibilities as directed by WCB. Requirements and Qualifications:  Minimum seven (7) years of proven data integration experience.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Demonstrated interpersonal, management, and communication skills at all levels of the organization.  Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills  Expert level knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server tools such as SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Azure Data Factory.  Experience integrating with other database technologies such as Oracle is considered an asset.  Experience working with hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.  Previous Workers Compensation Board experience is considered an asset.  Ability to work independently and within a team.
