Analyst, Data Analytics

As an Associate, IT Data Analytics at PFS in Mumbai, Maharashtra, you will be part of the IT Data Analytics team responsible for sourcing, processing, and distributing data internally and externally. Your primary focus will be on analytics engineering, encompassing data engineering, analytics modeling, business intelligence, and supporting AI-enabled analytics for HPS's Public & Private Credit, CLO, and Long/Short Credit investment platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain data transformations, curated datasets, and analytics-ready tables for reporting and analysis. - Develop and enhance dashboards and reports using Sigma, Power BI, or similar BI platforms. - Support semantic modeling, metric definitions, and standardized analytics outputs. - Assist in integrating third-party data sources into analytics workflows. - Prepare high-quality, analytics-ready data inputs for AI-enabled analytics. - Apply best practices for data quality, explainability, and governance in AI use cases. - Collaborate with business users to translate reporting needs into technical requirements. - Support ad-hoc analysis and data validation requests. Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, BI, or data engineering. - Strong SQL skills and experience with analytical datasets. - Exposure to cloud data platforms like Azure, Snowflake, or similar is beneficial. - Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik is a plus. - Interest or exposure to AI-enabled analytics or advanced analytics is advantageous. - Financial services experience, particularly in credit or asset management, is preferred. - Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities. - Highest degree of business ethics, professionalism, and ability to manage user relationships. - Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or related field coupled with an MBA from a tier I institute is preferred.
