ServiceNow Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst specializing in IT Asset Management and IT Service Management (ITSM), your role will involve gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements to enhance ITSM and Asset Management processes. You will closely collaborate with stakeholders to support the implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow SAM / SAM Pro or HRSD modules. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the software asset lifecycle and compliance processes, as well as working with technical teams on CMDB, Discovery, and IT Asset Management initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. - Work closely with stakeholders to improve ITSM and Asset Management processes. - Support implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow SAM / SAM Pro or HRSD modules. - Manage and optimize software asset lifecycle and compliance processes. - Collaborate with technical teams on CMDB, Discovery, and IT Asset Management initiatives. - Analyze software licensing models and ensure compliance governance. - Prepare process documentation, workflows, and functional specifications. - Support incident resolution, process improvements, and system optimization initiatives. - Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices and enterprise governance standards. - Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and solution reviews. Qualification Required: - 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst, ITSM Analyst, or IT Asset Management professional. - Strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform. - Experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM / SAM Pro) or HRSD module. - Strong understanding of software licensing models including Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc. - Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and IT Asset Management processes. - Good understanding of ITIL framework and ITSM best practices. - Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Preferred Qualifications: - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). - ServiceNow SAM Professional Certification. - Experience working in enterprise IT environments. - Exposure to software compliance and governance initiatives.
