Your tasks
Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements
Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers
Prepares equipment specification for lists of required materials, tools, and equipment
Investigate feasibility of transfer for carry over parts/tools and/or make/buy decisions
Create standard forms and procedures for production planning
Monitor daily KPI results and generate action plans to achieve targets based on OEE, FTQ, Scrap, PPMs, among others
Participate in the implementation of engineering changes according to assigned responsibilities
Ensure the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the layout for assigned areas according to standards
Prepare and maintain documentation such as FMEAs, PFCs, work instructions, parameter sheets, safety sheets, setter adjustment records, and model‑change documentation
Plan the review of FMEAs versus production documents according to IATF requirements and participate in reverse FMEA schedules
Maintain SAP system data after any process and/or product change
Analyze and improve assembly times for new and serial production projects by applying methodologies such as MTM, as well as monitoring bottlenecks to increase productivity
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Four years of experience in production planning within the automotive industry and mass production with emphasis on assembly, logistics and quality
Fluent English is a must
