About the role
Role & responsibilities Lead the design and development of high-precision mechanical systems for semiconductor equipment. Translate customer requirements into robust mechanical design solutions. Drive product development from concept through detailed design and validation. Conduct design reviews and make critical technical decisions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, software, and mechatronics. Ensure designs meet quality, manufacturability, reliability, and performance standards. Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance. Work closely with customers and global stakeholders to deliver innovative engineering solutions. Preferred candidate profile Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor equipment industry. Strong background in precision mechanical design and system engineering. Hands-on experience with GD&T, DFM, DFA, and DFMEA. Experience leading complex product development projects. Proficiency in NX, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar 3D CAD software. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with global engineering teams and customer-facing projects. Candidates with experience in leading semiconductor equipment companies will have an advantage.
