About the role
The role involves working extensively with Google Cloud Platform and AWS technologies to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions. It requires strong hands-on experience with cloud data services, ETL/ELT processes, real-time streaming architectures, and data visualization tools. The role also demands ownership of data problems end to end, from data collection and extraction to cleansing, optimization, and long-term maintenance. 5+ Years working in a Data Engineer, BI Engineer, or Data Warehousing Engineer role Strong experience with any ETL tool like Talend or SSIS or Informatica etc. Work with Google Cloud Platform services including Google Cloud Storage (Buckets), Cloud Data Fusion, BigQuery, and Google Analytics. Lead projects independently and ensure delivery within defined timelines. Apply strong performance-tuning techniques across data pipelines and processing workflows. Design and implement real-time streaming architectures where applicable. Build reports and data visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Maintain a strong foundation in data organization and execute ETL and ELT processes effectively. Design resilient and scalable data pipelines to support enterprise data needs. Own data problems end to end, including data collection, extraction, and data cleansing activities. Help implement and manage maintenance strategies for all datasets. Work with AWS and GCP technologies including S3, SQS, Redshift, Kinesis, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Data Fusion, and BigQuery. Use Java and Python along with their respective build and packaging systems in data workflows. Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Druid, Hive, and Presto.
