About the role
We are looking for a NOC Engineer L1 to monitor and support the organization's network and IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring network devices, handling basic troubleshooting, managing tickets, and escalating issues to higher support teams while ensuring maximum uptime.Key Responsibilities Monitor network devices, servers, and internet connectivity using monitoring tools. Respond to network alerts and troubleshoot basic connectivity issues. Log, update, and close incidents using the ticketing system. Perform first-level troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi issues. Monitor routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 support teams. Coordinate with ISPs during internet or circuit outages. Prepare daily health check and incident reports. Follow SOPs and ensure SLA compliance. Support scheduled maintenance activities when required. Required Skills Basic Networking (LAN/WAN) TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP Basic Router & Switch Knowledge VPN & Wi-Fi Troubleshooting Windows OS & Basic Server Knowledge Network Monitoring Tools (PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds, ManageEngine Basic) Ticketing Tools (ServiceNow, Jira, ManageEngine Basic) MS Office Mandatory Skill Set Basic Networking (LAN/WAN), TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Router & Switch Fundamentals, VPN, Wi-Fi Troubleshooting, Windows OS, Network Monitoring Tools, Ticketing System, Incident Management.
