Manager / Senior Manager Oracle DBA

As a Manager / Senior Manager - Oracle DBA based in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle databases to ensure high availability, security, and performance. Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle 19c databases on standalone and clustered environments, monitoring and optimizing database performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing regular health checks. Additionally, you will set up and manage Oracle Exadata, FarSync, develop backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, and ensure security and compliance by implementing Oracle Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and Oracle Key Vault (OKV), as well as configuring and administering Oracle Database Vault. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain Oracle 19c databases on standalone and clustered environments (Oracle GRID). - Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular health checks. - Set up and manage Oracle Exadata, FarSync, develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies using RMAN. - Implement and manage Oracle Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and Oracle Key Vault (OKV), configure and administer Oracle Database Vault. - Plan and execute database patching, upgrades, and migrations for system reliability and supportability. - Perform advanced tuning and optimization for high-performance workloads, analyze AWR, ADDM, and other diagnostic tools. - Create and maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, processes, and best practices, automate routine tasks for improved efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. - Expertise in Oracle 19c database architecture, configuration, and administration. - Hands-on experience with Oracle GRID Infrastructure, ExaData, and RAC. - Proficiency in Oracle TDE, OKV, and Database Vault implementation. - Strong backup and recovery skills using RMAN and Data Pump. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and documentation abilities, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
