Senior Manager Oracle DBA

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager - Oracle DBA in Mumbai, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Oracle database environment to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. Your role will involve tasks such as installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle database software, implementing security measures, developing backup and recovery strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and troubleshooting database issues. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related components. - Perform database capacity planning, monitoring, and optimization for scalability, performance, and reliability. - Implement and maintain database security measures, including user access controls, roles, privileges, and encryption. - Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies, including regular backups, data archiving, and disaster recovery planning. - Monitor database performance metrics, analyze trends, and identify areas for optimization and improvement. - Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, performance bottlenecks, and system outages in a timely manner. - Possess strong knowledge of Oracle features like ASO, Database Vault, OKV, FarSync, etc. - Have expertise in Oracle database architecture, administration, and performance tuning. - Work with Oracle Database versions 19c and above and Oracle Enterprise Edition features.
