Job Description QA Engineer (Automation + Manual Testing) Experience: 3+ Years Role: QA Engineer Automation & Manual Testing Role Overview We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in both Automation and Manual Testing to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Java-based automation frameworks, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, API testing, and a strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Playwright. Perform manual testing for functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing scenarios. Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data. Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects. Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous test execution. Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing for web and mobile applications. Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and RestAssured. Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain requirements-to-test traceability. Identify, report, track, and manage defects using JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices. Apply a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles while developing automation frameworks and scripts. Required Skills Programming: Java Mandatory Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright Testing: Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and API Testing Automation Frameworks/Tools: TestNG, JUnit, Maven/Gradle, BDD Cucumber API Testing: Postman, RestAssured Version Control: Git CI/CD: Jenkins preferred Bug Tracking: JIRA or similar tools Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies Good understanding of OOP principles Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter is an added advantage. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience in QA, covering both Automation and Manual Testing. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment. Nice to Have Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber. Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. Familiarity with API automation and database testing. Experience with performance testing using JMeter. .
