About the role
You are being sought after by Coforge for the position of Duck Creek Clarity Architect (Data Insight). In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Acting as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Duck Creek Clarity and all reporting-related discussions. - Leading workshops with business, finance, and technical stakeholders to gather and refine requirements. - Translating business and financial requirements into detailed reporting specifications and technical designs. - Validating Duck Creek Reporting (DCR) mappings, financial data flows, and reporting formats. - Demonstrating a strong understanding of insurance lifecycle processes including Policy, Billing, and Claims. - Working hands-on with Duck Creek DCR, including data elements, transformations, financial extracts, and General Ledger (GL) mappings. - Applying deep knowledge of insurance accounting concepts, including: General Ledger & Sub-Ledger, Trial Balance, Premium, Claims, Commission, and Underwriting (UW) flows, Adjustments, reversals, accruals, and reinsurance. - Configuring and managing Clarity metadata, datasets, dashboards, and ETL pipelines. - Guiding the development of standard and custom reports and dashboards. - Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation with source systems. - Troubleshooting data extraction issues, performance gaps, and mapping inconsistencies. - Providing end-to-end SME oversight for reporting deliverables. - Supporting development, QA, and UAT teams with functional validation. - Validating GL and Sub-Ledger outputs generated from DCR/Clarity. - Reviewing reporting requirements, mapping documents, validation rules, and test scenarios. You are expected to possess the following qualifications and experience: - 10 - 16 years of overall experience, including 8+ years of hands-on experience in Duck Creek. - Strong expertise in insurance financial accounting and reporting. - Proven ability to troubleshoot data quality and reconciliation issues. - Working knowledge of SQL and ETL/data models (preferred). - Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and manage senior stakeholders effectively.
